The first ever KDE Sound Competition

Our friends from KDE and LMMS (the free, cross-platform DAW) just announced a community competition for a sound for Plasma Mobile.

One selected by jurors artist will win physical prizes.

Artists with at least one of their sounds seleted will have the opportunity to promote themselves on KDE social media.

The physical prizes will be KDE gadgets, like KDE baseball cap or a plush Tux.

This section lists what sounds you need to send:

System events:

• Sound when pressing normal key in virtual keyboard
• Sound when pressing modifier key (like shift) in virtual keyboard
• Notification sound used for incoming SMS messages

Ringtones:

At least three ringtones

Alarm sounds:

At least three alarm sounds
